As promised last week, I propose an interesting chat with Giovanna Bettio , assistant marketing director for various structures in Livigno. Giovanna confirmed to us that using Twitter, Facebook, Flickr to promote the chain's flagship hotel has proven to be an excellent choice and that, even if they have not yet managed to monitor an actual ROI from this activity, there has been an important return of visibility . Giovanna monitors and manages a Facebook page dedicated to the hotel and a niche page for those who love visiting Livigno by mountain bike ( Mountain Bike Experience Livigno ). She also recently started using Twitter too.
Confirming what we have already explained in a previous post Hong Kong Phone Number Data dedicated to Social media for hotels , it was confirmed to us that to really involve customers and create a bond, the important thing is not only to advertise special offers, but to talk about yourself, the hotel staff 'hotel, of the destination . An important activity therefore, but one that needs someone to monitor and manage channels with attention and care, not simply as if it were a hobby . Despite everything, you achieved an increase in the number of visitors to the chain's sites. I think one of the coolest ways to leverage Facebook is to use it to promote future hotel events. However, I would be curious to know how you went about this new experience. Good work Giuseppe Lunardi MASSIMILIANO PIERGENTILI Comment from MAXPIERGENTILI — December 17, 2009, at 6.13 pm Good evening, I agree with Lunardi's opinion, in fact there aren't many hotels that are using Facebook, I too have recently started working in this direction first with the blog which is slowly growing and from now on I will soon also be online with Facebook .
