Like all families we have Rules and we also have guidelines that should be taken into consideration. With that said, please do not let these take away from your experience here.

Guidelines
Remember, stay shiny.
Rules
- At Least 13 Years of Age. Due to the rules of Proboards, you must be at least be 13 years of age to create an account. However, if you give yourself a few extra birthdays, Fan Fiction Critiques will do you a solid and wink at your true age.
- Be Respectful. I'll admit, not everyone is cut out to write or to draw. However, anyone can improve and get better at it. Under no circumstances should you slander a content creator for the quality of their work. If you are unsure how to give a quality critique, follow this link to the critiquing guidelines.
- Keep it Clean. As I stated earlier in this forum we are a family. And in this family, we Do NOT post sexually explicit content, we keep cursing to a minimum, and we do not slander anyone based on any differences. Even in our creative content, we WILL NOT post anything that attacks someone based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender or gender presentation, politics, or country of origin. This is something we are unable to wink at.
- No Spamming. We have a place here for any links you may want to share. And we have guidelines here for how to post those links.
Guidelines
- Stay Active. Though this isn't a rule, it's encouraged that you stay active. Not only will we miss you, you will also receive less exposure if you stay away for long periods of time.
- Critique Often. This site is literally based on critiquing one another. If someone critiques your story it is only fair that you critique theirs. And if you critique someone's story and they do not return the favor, shrug it off. Click this link for our critiquing guidelines: here
- Twitter. Here on Fan Fiction Critiques, we like to support our members by sharing their work and links with the world. The way we do this is Twitter. After joining, we will automatically help you do that. But by following us on Twitter, we will follow you and help share your tweets.
- Amazing By Being. Under our other name, Amazing by Being, we host a google plus community where you can connect with other content creators to share your work and to explore other people's work.
- Support Each Other. Treat each other as you would a church friend. I say church friend because in my family we do the bare minimum to support one another. My church family on the other hand. Fan Fiction Critiques, or Amazing by Being, should NOT be the only ones helping out members. Blog about each other, mention friends in stories or add them in your art. Share links.
- Be Nice. If a new member joins and need guidance be a pal and show them the ropes. This is your church and you have to give them the tour. Make new members feel welcomed.
- Default Settings. I encourage you to change the default notification setting on this forum. If someone replies to your art you will not get an email notification unless your settings are changed to receive email notifications.
Remember, stay shiny.
